Post Reminder: Saitama Game Day March 8th
Just a reminder that the Saitama Games Day is coming up! Several
people have already mentioned that they plan on attending, so it's
looking pretty good so far. Hope to see as many as possible!

Date: March 8th (sunday)
Time: 10am to 5pm
Cost: whatever you feel like donating (the room cost is only 2100 yen)

Access: Take the Tobu Isesaki Line/Hanzomon line to Tobu-dobutsu-koen
station (approx 48 min from Oshiage, 53 min from Tobu-Asakusa if
you're coming from the south). When you leave the ticket gate, go to
the West Exit. Go down the stairs, and you will see a bus/taxi loop
and a road leading away from the station. Walk along this road, past
the Lawson's convenience store, until you come to a set of traffic
lights. Right across this intersection on the right you will see a
large red brick building with a very fantasy-esque architecture.
That's the Shinshuukan. Enter via the doors facing the intersection,
and just follow the hallway until you reach a room full (well,
hopefully - but there'll be at least one) of gaming gaijin.

The space I have booked is large enough for 10+ people to run a few
different games simultaneously, and also has a whiteboard.

Things that may be available:

- Lord of the Rings by Reiner Knizia (RPG)
- a one-shot d20 Modern, horror movie theme (RPG)
- a one-shot Maid game (RPG)
- a one-shot Monsters and Other Childish Things game (RPG)
- Android (BG)
- Battlestar Galactica (BG)
- Illuminati (Card Game)
- Settlers of Catan (BG)
- Fluxx (CG)
- Conflict of Heroes (tactical WG)
- Command & Colors: Ancients (Rome vs Carthage) (tactical WG)

I will also be bringing:
- a pack of playing cards
- a go board
- books for a SF/Fantasy book exchange
- playdo for clay-o-rama

If you plan to attend, feel free to post what you're thinking of
bringing so people have an idea what will be available!
