Well sounds good to me, you'll have to teach me, but other than that, why not, hehe. I've also been looking at that Full Thrust game and it looks pretty sweet too, so again why not. Yeah the pound being weak is pretty big boon for me, I'm English so cheap stuff allround.

When and where do you play and stuff?

Post Re: Wargames we play
Hi There,

we normally play at teh JIGG meetings, although this time we will not be playing. Nearly all of the players have kids and wives do not appreciate much too many gaming events.

My wife though does not mind friends coming home for some games, so it is quite nice sometimes to play at home.

Where about do you live? I live on teh Keio line.

Cheers

Giovanni

Interesting. I live in Omiya which is just up the way from you. I'm in the DBA/DBR group. If you want some free minis to get you into 1/72 stuff, I have some. I foolishly bought some of the stuff and to be honest I prefer 15mm for the most part.

Yeah Omiya's pretty close and free minatures and paints sounds excellent, I would be most grateful for both or whatever could be spared :D thanks guys

So about DBA/R does anyone have a ruleset on the computer or something, like the fullthrust PDF for example that I could peruse? or is it all hardcopy?

HI Messy,

I have part of it in pdf and part of it in hard copy. Please do not be put off by the rules at first, because they are quite easy in reality but its just the way they are written.

I will prepare a nice box of paints and a cd for you but I do not know how to give it to you, perhaps if Darren plans to come to town I could pass it to him.

As for the plastic do not get frustrated with it it just takes a little bit of practice.

Cheers

HI I gave the stuff for you to Darren, that lives not far from you.

Please contact him to get the paints and some rules.

The paints are very basic but will help you to get started.

I hope to meet sometimes soon, although on the 31st I will not be able to come.

See you soon

Giovanni
