 Flavor text extravaganze
So while browsing some other magic forms i found an entertaining little game i figuared i would bring here. Heres how it works I'll start by giving a flavor text along with three clues to the card, the person who knows the answer, answers it and puts down a new flavor text along with three clues. wash rinse repeat. Lets start with an easy one and one of my all time favorites, "What you are attempting is not against the law. It is, however, extremely foolish." 1 Printed in two sets 2 Common 3 (1)(U)(U)

Without looking it up, I would have to guess its Cancel?
Here's perhaps my favorite flavor text of all time... In fact, I'll give you two.
#1 "Someday, someone will best me. But it won't be today, and it won't be you."
1) Rare 2) Instant 3) Illustrated by Scott Fischer fun fact: this was my signature file on my email for several YEARS.
#2 (this one is easy) "I will flay the skin from your flesh and the flesh from your bones and scrape your bones dry. And still you will not have suffered enough."
1) Rare 2) Instant 3) Printed in one of 3 sets released in 1998

Haha i thought the first was actually easier, I'm always a fan of blue flavor text, the first is LAST WORD. As far as the second im not sure...

Beat me to Cancel, and I'm first to get Hatred. "Goblins generally have two possessions: one per hand" Rare Red Art by Lars Grant-West And of course Gatherer is cheating, at least for a week or so.

My God, you're a genius!! I think I've exhausted my knowledge of Mirrodin. Is it that Tim-type goblin? Anyone else?
BTW, does anyone have the contact details for those guys from Temple...Kona, Zac and the Braids of Fire guy whose name eludes me at the moment. They were playing much more than me during that time.

Detonate! Another classic.
My all-time favorite though:
The Ogre philosopher Gnerdel believed the purpose of life was to live as high on the food chain as possible. She refused to eat vegetarians, and preferred to live entirely on creatures that preyed on sentient beings.
She's really got a point there, don't you think?

 Re: Flavor text extravaganze
I have no idea. That one must be an old one tho. I haven't seen flavor text that long in a while. Or it could also be VERY new... I haven't seen a lot of the newer cards.
In the meantime how would you like some more quizzes? "The Great Furnace's blessing is a spectacular sight, but the best view comes at a high cost."
