Post Castle Tintagel game day, Sunday March 15
A quote from an email sent to the JIGG mailing list by Jay Noyes:
Quote:
I am pleased to announce that Castle Tintagel will open its doors to JIGG on Sunday March 15, Usually only the 1st floor is available, but this Game Day, both floors of Tintagel will be open for gaming. It would be a perfect day to set up a giant miniatures battle downstairs ("giant miniatures battle"? That just sounds _wrong_). Any kind of gaming is fine, though, and tables are available.

As always, admittance is only 500 yen, although we hope that guests will take advantage of our cafe/bar when time comes for refreshments.

I'll be there as well with Dune and probably Arkham (+Dunwich) Horror. There's no chance we'll be able to squeeze both in, but what the hell!

Hi Martin,

COuld you bring the samurai game and the lord of rings game that you brought last month? I would be interested in playing either on the next game day.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hey Jeff!

Well, the samurai game wasn't mine. And since War of the Ring is just a two player game that takes up a lot of space and time I think I'll leave it at home unfortunately. :(

Very cool folks. I will tell the staff that you are coming. The mailing list was so quiet that i was getting worried.

What kind of games will be played? Euro? Ameritrash? everything?

I read that Space Alert was played last time; is someone planning on bringing that again?

It's usually whatever people bring and agree to play. We had miniature gamers, 5-hour long FFG sessions, euros, as well as fillers so far.

That was me, and unfortunately I can't come this month.

If someone wants to borrow it for Sunday, I'll probably be at Akiba Yellow Submarine on Wednesday (and it with me); PM me phone# if you're considering that, so I can confirm if I'm going there. I will not miss it since I won't be able to play till April, as long as you promise to pamper it :)

You will want to make sure you have a device that can play CDs or MP3s, or a person who is willing to not play and act as a computer, staring into a watch and scenario cards throughout the game.

I'll be there. Probably about 11am.

Just me so I'll be up for anything. Although I may have to leave about 6ish.

No chance anyone wants to play Car Wars huh?

Matt
